Enercon Industries Ltd, the global leader in induction heat sealing, has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards.
The Aylesbury-based company has been named as a finalist in two categories of the Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (PPMA) Group Industry Awards 2014.
The annual awards recognise and reward excellence in British manufacturing and engineering.
In the first round of nominations announced, Enercon has been shortlisted for: Processing & Packaging Machinery Manufacturer of the Year and Exceptional Sales or Company Growth Award.
Founder and Managing Director, Richard Bull, said he was thrilled with the recognition that is coming the company’s way.
“Being shortlisted for two awards confirms that the hard work and dedication of the Enercon team is paying off.
“I am incredibly proud of our team and the business that Enercon has become and we are delighted to be associated with the awards and the excellence they represent across the industry.”
The nominations come after a record-breaking time for Enercon. Despite tough economic difficulties in the European Union, Enercon has grown continually over the past five years. In fact 2013 was the best in the company’s entire history, with an astonishing growth of 33% compared to 2012.
Further category shortlists have yet to be announced.
All winners will be selected by an independent judging panel and announced at the PPMA Awards Dinner on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.
