Enercon Industries has made a festive donation to its chosen Christmas charity.

The global leader in induction cap sealing has donated £500 to Aylesbury Youth Motor Project to help support young and disadvantaged people.

Situated on the same road as Enercon Industries, Aylesbury Youth Motor Project offers courses to help develop workforce skills and improve the employability and quality of life for young people living in the Aylesbury area.

Richard Bull, Managing Director of Enercon Industries Ltd, said: “Enercon has done a tremendous amount of work for charities over the years and each year we select one to raise funds for.

“This year we wanted to support a local charity and give something back to our community.

“We decided to donate to the Aylesbury Youth Motor Project because of the great work is does in giving young people a better future.”

Each year Enercon donates £500 to a charity instead of posting out Christmas cards to its customers, colleagues and partners both locally and internationally. The money donated comes from the savings made from not purchasing and posting physical cards.

However, Enercon still sends out Christmas cheer, but in the form of an animated greeting card.
