Recently, the company upgraded its 16-year-old Enercon equipment to the latest Super Seal™ range, to continue to add hermetic seals to their range.

Mari Paz turned to induction sealing as a solution to preserve the natural qualities of its spices and infusions. Initially, the company used tamper-evident closures but sought a more effective method to achieve a fully hermetic seal.
Managing Director Enrique Montserrat commented:
“Initially, we worked with label-type seals, but they weren’t hermetically sealed. In the manufacture of spices and infusions, it is essential to have completely sealed packaging, as our products quickly lose their original colour, aroma and flavour due to light exposure and oxidation. We chose induction cap sealing because it offered hermetic seals, but we soon discovered it also preserved freshness, colour and aroma much more effectively. Induction sealing is fantastic for maintaining the original flavour of spices.”
By preventing exposure to air and light, induction sealing significantly extends product shelf life while maintaining quality.
