Enercon produces a range of optional extras for your inline induction sealer, aimed at quality control of your packaging line
As induction cap sealing is one of the last processes in the packaging process, many issues that cause poor seals happen upstream in the filling or capping area: a seal cannot be achieved with a missing cap or a cap with a missing foil.
The capper can also cause stalled bottles under the induction coil where caps are loose or partially fitted or the cap is incorrectly fitted or too high. Issues downstream from the induction cap sealer can cause containers to back-up under the sealing head.
The below accessories are available for new or existing induction sealers and can help ensure that your sealing process is running faultlessly, producing consistent, reliable seals on every container. It also features ancillaries and more information on our annual service contract.

There are a range of optional extras for your Super Seal™ induction cap sealer:
- Stalled Bottle Detection:
Detects when a bottle doesn’t exit the sealing head within a preset time. The sealer automatically shuts off and displays a “stalled bottle fault.” Incorporating a stalled‑bottle detector into a conveyor line helps prevent containers from remaining under the sealing head for too long, avoiding container damage, product loss, and potential safety hazards – particularly when sealing flammable or combustible materials. - Bottle Backup Detection:
Detects containers if they backup under the sealer. If this happens, the induction sealer automatically shuts off. This helps prevent damage to both products and the sealer caused by overheated/burnt liners. - Foil Detection:
This sensor detects if a foil liner is present in the cap; if there is no foil in the cap, the container cannot be sealed. - Cocked Cap Detection:
Detects an incorrectly fitted or cocked cap, which could affect seal quality.
Stack Light Assembly:
- A visual aid that gives a green light to indicate that the unit is functioning correctly and a red light to indicate that no power is being supplied to the sealing head.
Stack Light Assembly with Audible Alarm
- The Stack Light is also available with an 85dB audible alarm. This sounder works in unison with the red light by indicating when the induction cap sealer is on, but not running correctly. This is useful for production environments which are noisy or where the machine isn’t in direct sight.
Auto Power Control System:
- An induction sealer’s power setting is set to match a fixed conveyor speed. Therefore, if your conveyor speeds up and slows down, this system will automatically alter your power setting to match the changing conveyor speed. This prevents poor sealing.
Variable Line Speed Control via a 0-10V signal cable:
- An analogue signal that allows the customer to use their own PLC/control system to adjust the power level on the Enercon.
Machine stand wheels:
- Stainless steel housed, high compression rubber wheels can be fitted in addition to the standard frame foot pads to allow for ease of unit manoeuvrability. Two brakes are included to allow the induction sealer to be locked into position.
Spare Parts Kits:
- Various kits available on request.
IQ/OQ Kit:
- Enercon Industries will provide the documentation for IQ/OQ.
To keep your machine in perfect working order it needs a bit of TLC from time to time, and after almost a year, operational settings may require adjustment, or you may have new staff training requirements.
To keep you sealing at your full potential and using the machine at its most efficient, we’ve offer a Preventative Maintenance Package and operator training package. One of our qualified service engineers would visit your site once per annum to:
- Thoroughly check over the unit and clean the cooling fans
- Check all the control functions
- Report any issues which may require further attention
- Review what you are sealing and advise on induction coil choice
- Re-set your “operating window” and teach your operators how to do this for maximum seal quality at minimum power consumption
- Offer a short refresher course in basic operation and safety training (max 2hrs)
- If you sign up for the annual service package before your warranty expires, we will increase your warranty by an additional 6 months.

Integrated Network Control & Monitoring:
- Enables customers to connect with the cap sealer through virtually any fieldbus or industrial ethernet network such as MODBUS TPC, PROFINET or EtherNet/IP. Works with any customer-supplied software for network control and monitoring. Simple network control also available from a PC.
Automatic Start/Stop:
- The automatic start/stop function activates the machine when a bottle is detected and will return the machine to standby mode when no container has been detected after a pre-set time period.
