Line Speed Calculator

If you don’t know your conveyor line speed or have a Tachometer to measure it, you can use the formula below to calculate your line speed. Simply enter in how many containers per minute you run and the pitch (spacing between) the centers of the containers. The resulting line speed is a key component used to size an induction sealer.

Enter your production rate and pitch to calculate containers per metre and line speed (m/min). Pitch is the center‑to‑center spacing between containers along the conveyor.
